Description
The “Gitabou Starter” kit combines the templates for building a Strat Body with a neck that is ready to be painted. In this way, first experiences in building a real guitar can be made without having to start building a neck. Neck and neck pocket template are listed, so you can let go of the template directly.
Kit consists of:
- Body template
- Neck pocket template with tremolo pocket behind (+ inlay)
- “Modern Vintage” neck with half-paddle rough shaping for your own headstock designs. The “Modern Vintage” necks lead to modern playability (12 “fingerboard radius) in the classic look. The neck is shaped to a pleasant medium D and has the truss rod access on the headstock. The unpainted version of this neck is sanded ready for painting. For final adjustability In the “Modern Vintage” necks a double-action truss rod is built in, which works actively in both different ones, finished bundled (Jumbo, 2.7 x 1.1 mm), with milling for F-type saddles (not included).
